In all its humility and resilience, being in the helping profession is a joy and an honour. It is a privilege to journey alongside individuals through some of the toughest parts of their lives, at their own pace, in a collaborative space where connection and trust form the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
When thinking about the work we do, I often visualise us sitting next to each other on a bench, looking out into the world together—discussing, digesting, processing, wondering, deciding, and understanding. Therapy is not about having everything figured out at once, but about making sense of what has been, what is, and what may come next.
I have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, as well as those navigating trauma-related, mood, and anxiety concerns, including challenges related to neurodiversity. I take an eclectic, person-centred approach and am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and supported.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy coffee, reading, the beach, and camping. I value the practice of meditation and self-reflection, which helps me stay grounded, as well as spending meaningful, quality time with the people I love.
These simple moments of connection, reflection, and being in nature help me take care of myself and create space to be present. In doing so, I find that I am better able to connect with and be present for my clients in our sessions.
