My own life experiences first drew me to counselling. They taught me how deeply our experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. This eventually grew into a passion for understanding people and supporting them through different seasons of life.
In my practice, I believe that sometimes we become stuck not only because of what has happened to us, but also because of the thoughts and beliefs we carry from those experiences. My approach is solution-focused with elements of CBT. I support clients in recognising and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, exploring different perspectives, and finding practical ways to move forward.
Most importantly, I want my clients to feel that counselling is a space where they can show up as they are. I am not here to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you as we understand what is holding you back and discover what moving forward can look like for you.
Beyond counselling, I am a Social Value Academy Lead, where I work to build people’s capacity to create and understand meaningful social impact. I believe that the work we do should ultimately create positive change in people’s lives.
I am also a mother to a daughter, which has deepened my appreciation for the many roles and expectations women carry. This is also why I have a special interest in supporting mothers and women as they navigate different seasons of life, while finding space for themselves along the way.
